I just whipped up a batch of 100% organic hummus. It's not bad for my first try at making hummus from scratch. I've got more garbanzos soaking now. I'm going to make some roasted red-pepper hummus either tomorrow or Sunday. I like making stuff from scratch, it's fun! And for some reason I get great enjoyment from roasting peppers...

Well, I may be not around for a while. Probably for a long while. I'm broke and I think I won't be able to renew my subscription. I may be leaving Portland soon, but I don't know yet. We'll see...

For dinner I made falafel, fresh roasted pepper hummus (I roasted the pepers myself), pita bread, and baked potato slices.

For dessert, yeah I'm weird, organic Green Tea & Ginger Ice Cream and a bag of organic roasted peanuts.

The ice cream is actually pretty damn good!

Well, on second thought... I'm staying. I had a talk with someone about it and I got to thinking. I've thown in the towel waaay to many times. I'm gonna stick it out and if I end up couch surfing untill I get a job, so be it. Putting myself in this position was my doing. Making it right will be my doing, too.

Well Portland, you've almost won... I'm giving it a week. If things don't shape up I'm throwing in the towel. It's already been a month with no job and no money. I'm becoming a burden to my friends. I'm just not happy.

After 4 hours of waiting and dealing with bratty kids, their inconsiderate parents, and the people who kept bitching about the wait, I finally got my Oregon Trail card. So tonight I ate well! Pad-Tai noodles with fried tofu! (Almost vegan 'cept for the fish sauce... oh well)

I walked, roughly, 14 miles yesterday. As if the first walk downtown wasn't enough, I walked down to SE Grand and then on down to the tracks. Each trip was about 7 miles round trip. fun-fun...

Went for a nice walk today ('cept for the weather) down to the Saturday Market. I was bored so i decided to take the hike from NE Alberta to Downtown. Heh, no I'm bored again... but it's almost time for THe Simpsons.
