Ahhhh.

Just got home from a fantastic evening meeting some new people in Salt Lake City. Went went to a bar called Liquid Joe's and saw the greatest 80's cover band EVER. The Spazmatics are a hilariously cool science nerd 80's pop synth new wave dance show. They perform a variety of music by bands including Flock of Seagulls, The Go-Gos, Oingo Boingo, The Cure,...

yoga is fuckin amazing. I wish i had the fortitude to stick it out and keep doing it all the time for the rest of my life... But that hasn't happened yet. But when i was doing it just once a week, i noticed how much it did for mind and body. It's awesome.

Oi...my god.

I just got done doing a two hour drunken walk home from the bar. Tequilla shots...and Tecate. My crew out from SoCal really can drink it up. I'm not much one for booze. Hangovers are lame....tomorrow should be super. I think the walk home cleared the worst of it. Hell, can even form coherant sentences. I just hope the room stops spinning puke

I...

This might just be the saddest day of my life....

I have made a mess of, lied too, and pretty much ruined the only thing in life that meant anything to me. I have hurt the one person I swore never to hurt. I was unfaithful to the one person I promised I would be with forever. She's such a good soul, and such a...

I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again. whatever

Life is taking me for the proverbial spin.

Things are going to be rather interesting in the next few weeks. I'll be curious to see what manifests next.

So, as some of you may know by now, my wife and I are going through a seperation. So we're kind of going public...

Dude,my ex-wife and I divorced after 8 years because we just couldn't be married. And after being complacent about our relationship it was too far gone to fix. Once we got rid of the marriage bullshit we went back to being great friends. We even lived together for a year after our divorce! eeek She is one of my dearest, closest friends and I think the world of her.

Hold onto that friendship. It will make a huge difference as you travel through life. Even the judge at our divorce said we were unlike any divorcing couple she had ever come across and wished that every proceeding was like ours. biggrin

Good luck and keep shooting!

the way of man

we are precious, wet paper with tragic headlines

can't remember the sun shining and eating cookies from the oven

you choke the air, grasping at nothing, reaching for redemption, forgivness, finding fate laughing at your failures

this space is wrong, this time it ends and we reach the beginning

And on another note...cows are fuckin'...

Hard to believe it's nearly June...where the hell does the time go?

Life in Ryan-land is kind of funky right now. Not kick-ass, Debbie Harry/Blondie Funkytown funky...more like Twin Peaks funky. Maybe a little War of the Roses funky. biggrin

I'm out in Utah right now. It's absolutely beautful up in the mountains, but my lips are SO dry and cracked. I know how Icarus felt...I...

The Pilgrim is a full size replica of the hide brig immortalized by Richard Henry Dana, Jr. in his American seafaring classic novel Two Years Before the Mast. Dana said of the Pilgrim, "The vessel I am going on is small, but strong and a remarkably fast sailer having been built for the smuggling trade."

Here's my own photo of The Pilgrim, Dana Point Harbor...

That's an excellent motto. We didn't hear back from Grand Rapids but recently he found out that L3 in Muskegon is doing paid internships for Packaging engineers... So... Please? Right now we're living with his mom for only 200 a month because that's about all we can afford. Trust, If we could we would pick up and get the eff outta here, but yes, I'd miss the lake quite a bit.

So I got all dressed up for some interviewing, "Speed-dating style" at a careerjobs.com job fair. I felt it was appropriate to capture the moment for posterity. I figure this time next year...I'll be on the cover of both Forbes, and Fortune magazines. Anyway...the job hunt was good, generated some leads/contacts/interviews and maybe even a job here at some point. I don't wan to jinx...
