This design has very personal meaning for me and I had it done after my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, she is still with me.
The center symbol is a shieldknot for protection. Starting with the top rune and going clockwise: Algiz signifying divine protection and connected with the Valkyries. Kenaz is the torch that lights the way on my journey. Sowulo is a solar symbol. To be used for healing or to help center myself. Raido which means journey or path.
The bind-rune below these is a combination of Jera and Eiwhaz. Together they are a driving force when working through difficult tasks. I've been very happy with it and wouldn't change a thing.
