Glad you had fun at the show. I haven't been to a musical venue in forever.

The pup is driving me nuts today. Did I tell you that I bought a baby gate so I could separate her from me for small amounts of time so I could have a break? All I did today was laundry and walk the dog (over and over and over).

My mother called me today. I'm tempted to say, "ha ha, I win", but that's not nice, is it? She acted like nothing had happened so I did too. At least I'm learning proper denial skills from her, eh? I still feel the same inside though. I don't want to accept anything from her. No damn truck, no unasked for groceries, nothing. She even asked if I wanted her to bring me lunch at wk tomorrow and I casually said, no thanks. It's an amazing feat for me to say no to her, even for something that simple, so I'm proud. smile

Going to see Shonen Knife tonight. Weeeee. I'm as happy as a little school girl. One blurb I read about descirbed them as the two little women from the movie Mothra singing punk rock. It makes sense to me.

Also going to see the Starsky and Hutch movie tomorrow as a preview. It stars Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson and is directed by the fellow that did Old School. It was one of those movies I expected to suck when I first heard about it but after finding out more it looks okay.

I hope that SOMEONE will want to cuddle me now (due to the hair). ::sniff, sob:: I have noticed that my personality is different though - kind of like it used to be when I was in my early 20's. I think that all these changes (new tattoo, losing weight - 7 lbs. in the past two weeks, in fact, and now the hair - which means wearing different make-up) are good for me. Why not, I ask myself? I need to do the crazy stuff while I still look young enough to do it. ::smile::
