Today's cute. A snuggly bird after she took a bath.
Phryne was a snuggle-bird this morning. Which is good, since last night she was a very bitey, over-tired toddler. My neck is still sore from that. Oh cute redemption.

Yesterday I wasn't feeling too well. Head was stuffed and buzzing, was aching all over. Phryne was being a bit of a spaz, so I pulled the collar of my t-shirt out and she crawled inside...and popped out a little while later through my sleeve.
Phryne the conure is like a dog when she gets wet. She has the zoomies, rubbing all over everything, then settles down under a towel to dry and warm up.
Haven't been around much. Phryne's been sooooooo adventurous. And cute. And wants to destroy the mouse. Computer use is so hard to get to now.

Meet our new baby bird! She is still very skittish, but is basically calm and gentle. Was happy in her travel cage, we left it open on our table in front of the sofa, and once she saw Karen had food, she was very excited to see her. Hasn't left her shoulder since she was introduced to green beans and beer batter.
