I need to stop complaining about having chunks taken out of me by Phryne. So, I'll just have to instead talk about cute things she does. Every time I give her a pecan piece she says sweetheart and wolf-whistles. She's training us to give her treats.

Just lost yet another big chunk out of a finger. Phryne was getting her head scratched and very happy then suddenly turned around and bit, released slightly, then dug in deeper into the bite. No warning, nothing. Maybe we were wrong. Maybe we should not have another bird.

Ugh. Well, I headed off the migraine by tons of Tylenol and Benedryl. Knocked me out for a few hours. My head still hurts, but not nearly as much. And, of course, Phryne is trying out all her jungle noises. O_o

Today it is currently 56 and bacon outside. But it will get to 72, which means I can set up Phryne's cage at the open door to the screened in back deck and she can enjoy yelling at outside birbs!
Blood is trickling down my finger, which is numb from the tip to second joint. After cleaning it and cutting away the loose skin it soaks through 2 bandaids before I can get it to stop bleeding so much. Yes, Phryne has struck again.

If you were trying to upload the video on mobile it doesn't always work. WHen I have trouble I generally switch to uploading from my laptop.
Someone, in her anxiousness to get to her Nutriberries, knocked her dish of fruits and veggies out of my hand and all over the floor. So I'm making her wait to go eat until I clean up the food. Small brag: I made a delicious soup last night. Boiled a whole chicken, then picked the meat and put it back into the chicken broth that made with carrots, spinach and cheese tortellini. Oh my goodness it was soooo good! And really filling too.
