The old mercury is still hovering around 30 degrees....it feels like a balmy heat wave. The ice is finally losing it's....well....icy grip....on things. I spent a good portion of yesterday afternoon, chipping and shoveling the ice off of the driveway and front and back porch. It's funny, when I'm home sometimes, I stay in my jammers all day, with messy hair and no makeup. I call it "hag mode" and my mom does too, she'll call me and say "are you coming over?" All I have to say is "hag mode" and she says "Me too." Then we just talk on the phone.

With 5 below on the thermometer this morning, wind chill at 15 below and snow coming down, I wasn't anxious to be outside. Luckily, the 2 guys that I was going to work with this afternoon, decided it was too cold to be outside. So, I'm gong to stay inside, relax and maybe even take a little snooze this afternoon

Yeah! I got the Office box set for xmas!! I love how uncomfortable it is to watch David make a fool of himself. 
Freezing drizzle here today, has put a fresh coating of thin ice on everything. I hate doing the "klutz dance on ice" just getting to the mailbox and back.
