1) My Aunt Lisa refuses to jump on the bandwagon and just get me a GC like everyone else. Also, she seems to think I'm still 12 years old, but with the clothing tastes of a 65 year old woman. The last Xmas gift she bought me was one of those stretchy velvet pants-and-shirt sets. It was GINORMOUS and hideous. Oh well...she means well, I guess.

2) That's easy: Humphrey the Humping Dog for my grandfather. He is dying of cancer right now, but he has a sick sense of humor. So I bought him the little pervert chihuahua to brighten his day.

Ever since 9/11 there's been an increase in what we in the industry call "Whackers" or people who are all up into the Firefighter/EMS thing. Even if they don't work on the job, or even worse, on some volunteer squad. People putting all the stickers on their cars, patches on their jackets, anything to show how proud they are and/or gain recognition for just doing their job. When I'm off duty I don't wear any Fire/EMS related clothing, the only sticker on my truck is a DarkStar Skateboards logo sticker, and the only car accidents I stop at are the ones I'm in. There's people that drive around with their scanners on all day and go to fires in other towns to take pictures and video, etc. Although I'm friends with some of these people, I will NEVER understand their behavior. Leave the Job at the Job, for Christ's sake. Next time you get one of these guys, make some comment about how he's the #th whacker tattoo of the month so he gets charged double...

to me marriage has nothing to do with religion or gov't it's sharing promises to be faithful to somone. the vows. I told my parents today (as they were discussing how my sister will be married in our church... I don't go any more and haven't for many years) anyhow I told them I'm getting married outside.... yes I know it's not my choice... but the girl I end up with will want it that way too... I don't care too much where but it won't be in a church, or a courtroom either.

They were called 'Insult to Injury'. I bought their old demo tape when I saw them play about 10 years ago. I never thought that they'd go on for so long. I remember liking them quite a bit, though.

It would have been perfectly reasonable for you to go home and rummage through zines and record inserts to get the answer. Nobody plays by the rules on the internet anyways.

As for the book, it's got a few pics but it's her autobiography and it's really well done and thoughtful, especially about tattoos and what they mean and how tattooing has changed over the years. You should check it out.
