I bet they hassled you about a visa because of all your piercings.. so many Americans still get freaked out about the heavily pierced. I always expect a hassle at the airport, but Most of the time no problem. My husband says you might want to come thru LA and get a connecting flight. Los Angeles is much more relaxed about weird looking people than JFK. and also there are many Asian coming thru LAX.
I wish our trip took us to Kobe too... I hope my trip to Japan in June is just my first. I know that I will love it there.
How difficult will things be for me with all my tattoos. I know it will be hot in Tokyo in June and I will live in tank tops... should I be concerned?
