Well, first off, being on SG in the first place has connected me with so many amazing people. I wouldn't know 60% of my phone book if it wasn't for this site. On top of that, I think being an SG has made me a lot more confident. I don't mean in the way that people like my boobs and that's awesome (though it still kind of is), I mean that people respond to what I say here and that has meant a lot to me. SG is one place where I can kind of see how my personality has grown over the years, and I like where it's going, and that gives me confidence.
When I first joined, Marie was my favorite SG. I just thought she looked incredible. I still do, and I'm sad that she doesn't have new sets up.
Okay, I was going to wait to post until I had all my photos--but it's been a week so I'll update already! I am going to make the photos smaller and edit this up, so I apologise for their hugeness until then.
I agree! I've done the slutoween thing (like two years ago) and it's just cold and bleh. Even this year, I was like "omg why I am wearing kneesocks and not TIGHTS!!!!"
Then I drank and danced some more and warmed up. In my defense the bar I was in is literally on the water and horribly insulated since it's a summer venue.
Let me know what you think of the governmental institutions of New France and how they and the limited commercial interests of the Company of 100 Associates affected the colonial expansion patterns of the French north American colonies.
It's the same day as my 4th Annual Guy Fawkes Day Irish Car Bomb Science Experiment, so I'll be busy prepping for that. You are very much wanted there, once Disney is done.
♥ Stephane Dion stepping down today? But who will replace him, oh nooooo!
♥ Throw some cheese on that bitch! I am obsessed with this song right now. I so want a Lincoln Town Car or an old Cadillac that I can nasty up with some wire rims and gold detailing and a bunch of Virgin Marys stuck to the dash.... Read More
I am so unbelievably disappointed in Canadians. We had our Federal Election last night and the lowest voter turnout EVER. Only about 59% of people felt it necessary to vote. I am disappointed that the Conservatives won ANOTHER minority government. They have blasted through our money and now we are running a huge deficit. Hey, how about you cut the GST some more and increase... Read More
♥ How much have I changed in a year? I don't know, but I've gone through a lot. I've been trying really hard to be a better person all around. I'm healthier--I eat better and go to the gym a few times a week. I have re-enrolled in school (yay!).... Read More
♥ it's my birthday in just a week! I am getting really excited. That means it is time to put up my charities wishlist! If anyone would like to donate to a charity for my birthday, I would love it! Here it is! 2008 has been my year of charity. I have donated a couple hundred to charity this year, not to mention Uproot and... Read More
♥ It is extremely ironic that I asked you guys about your allergies in my last blog because this weekend I stumbled on a new allergy:the antibiotic Bactrim! Fun, right? Especially since I have a chronic infection thing going on where only a couple drugs can treat it and bactrim is one of them. Double especially since I got welts, swelling, and had difficulty breathing,... Read More
♥ The other day I had a strange dream. In it, my friend was singing this song to me:
So I am on a new William Elliott Whitmore kick. I had all his stuff on my old computer, but since it's dead for good, my music collection is stuck on my external. Anyway I downloaded some more albums and I am listening again.
Thanks for the b-day wishes.
Katieesq looks like Bridget Fonda.
Oh and that beach is beautiful. I'm jealous of the gorgeous scenery you have all around you.
ps, can you tell me anything about Edmonton? The hubby is thinking of moving us up there for work. I'm not sure how serious he is but I'm getting all the info I can. (wait, are you even from around there?)
