Your profile and comments over the past couple of years indicate that your life is far from fucked! Rough at the moment, definately, but wonderful in the past, which probably makes now seem all the worse.

Hang in there, put your heart on your sleave, so that caring ones may stroke and soothe it, and one day the sun will shine in your back door, promise. xxx
rhanarose:
Thanks Dave ^^^

Just read your blog before this one . . . what did he say? And haven't you asked him before?
sexybeast:
I don't really try to impress anyone but myself. I really like running with my headphones on. When I don't have my headphones, I get bored and start running faster and wearing myself out. My ipod broke, so I've got no music.

I'm going to start running every other night and I'll be doing great soon enough.

I know the person he is today would never marry the person you are today. But, it's still kind of sad. I wish you the best.

I'm all packed and waiting for my ride to the airport, to return home to MI. I have seen and done some amazing things here - reconnected with old friends, and even some of my family!!!
It has been a blast - but all good things come to an end. I'm afraid my cats have destroyed my house and my son resorted to feeding them...

Yes it's been a while since I was first diagnosed and discussed the treatment plan.

Short story = periodontal surgery;

I am actually enjoying my " alone " time. No kids, no pets, no spouse, no cooking, and sleeping alone!! I could get used to this........... ( If only I could watch a little telly at night - can't figure out how to turn it on blush )

Read!! A true holiday involves magazines purchased from lounges, bus and railway stations, and airports. Or Paul Theroux, a great holiday read, or Chatwin. Even Hemingway or Hesse!

Pernod and orange or lemonaide aids with concentration and lets you know when it's time for a holiday nap!!

TV - who needs it?? XXX
catdad:
Skinny girls need to eat, too. kiss

Know exactly what you are going through. I have a 33year old Anglo Arab, 'Beersheba' who still moves like a wild filley, but I can't keep weight on her dispite vets - tooth fairies, and nutritional 'stuffing'. (We have an endurance history together.)

I have already had to answer the animal walfare people about her once, but they understand (ish) and recommended putting her down because there had been a complaint, even though they acknowledged that her feed and care regime was above standard, and she moved as if there was no discomfort. Bloody beurocrats! (Destruction based on aesthetics!) Recommendation dismissed with contempt!

So like you, the decision is heart wrenching and not taken lighty and flippantly, and no amount of rationale takes away the sense of self loathing having made the decision, so drink more wine for a while - as a destraction, I find it eventually helps.

My girl will face a wettish summer this year so hopefully will be comfortable, but when winter next arrives??

Been a bastard of a year for you Rhana (Annus Horribulus - according to Queen Lizzie of Buck Palace), so its only a couple of months till '11 is gone - '12 has to be better!

Here's to 2012 - Rhana, pour a drink for me, and tuck 2011 avay for meloncholic moments!

Thinking of you - Dave

madscience:
Oh my god Rhana. That really sucks. What happened?

You've really had a lot of crap going on lately. I'm so sorry.
