In answer to your question, basically I don't use the site enough to be able to justify to myself the whole resubscribing thing.. my year sub runs out soon, and I'm broke as all hell at the moment, so yeah, SG doesn't seem more important than things like rent and food.

Oh god, I rode Monday night, temp was in the upper 20's. I ride in an indoor arena, but it's not heated, so it was probably in the lower 30's in there. It was damn cold!! Your toes just freeze and hurt so bad! And I ride western so I can't post to get the blood moving down there, I just gotta keep my toes sticking straight up, letting the blood run down out of the them . . . 
Well - Continuing my thoughts about friends - I have added about 5 new friends all just in the last week. I sure hope some of them turn out to be more than just " virtual " ---

Well, I'm doing ok for the new year, but I HAVE to GAIN about 10 lbs, cause I'm beginning to look like holacust survivor. I've slowly dropped about 12 pounds since July and haven't done a very good job of eating right. I weigh 137 - not enough for my small frame. I can get by with 2 small meals a days and keeps me in check. But it's not enough to keep me from losing the weight. My doctor chewed me out in December at my annual exam and said I needed more protein and starches, and sugars, and greens of course. If I don't show improvement by end of Frebruary, I'll be in deep do-do. And I go to a nutrionist for better management of food.
But if it was up to me, I would eat, ice cream, brownies, Hosttess cupcakes, Zingers, Chocolate Candy, Orange Slices, and Sugar Babies.1 What a dream, Right?
Better keep my shit straight.

Actually, my surgeon seemed really surprised about how big it is. Not how long, obviously, it's as long as he cut, but I think he thought it would be thinner. I have no complaints about it. Atfirst, I was kind of worried about how it would turn out, but after I went through everything, I like having it. I went through a lot for that scar, so I'm kind of proud of it. It's still got some healing to do, it won't be as noticable in the future.
I know I'm rambling, but I actually can't wait to have it in a set. I just have to figure out what to do for a set. I really want to do something where I'm climbing on stuff and being drunk and silly.

Well, I'm still here in Seattle. I'm going to see an exhibition that is here in town called, " Bodies ". Anyone heard of it?? It's real cadavers in various poses, stripped of skin. You can see muscles and internal organs etc.. I'm excited!! This is my kind of thing...........

It seems every time I get used to the reformatting of the site they change it! Probably the same people that, every time I just about make ends meet, yank one of the ends away. Like that Greek mythology guy, Sisyphus, I think, that spends Eternity pushing a boulder up a mountain only to have it roll back down.

I lost a dog that was very near and dear to me to sudden kidney failure (ironic, as nephrology is my field of employ) and a ferret to colon cancer, as well as a cat to poisoning form some neighbourhood kids, so I know you're facing some serious sad times, and it doesn't help that you are sick, too. Hope you feel better.

Yeah, all my kids (4) are on myspace and I do have an account, but don't use it.
My computer of one year one crashed on me last September and ended up buying a new one the following week. I lost so many files and photos from my clients because I had not backed up in 3 weeks. But for the most part I had backed up everything in a separate external drive. But guess what? The old computer came up last week and I was able to recover all the remaining lost files. It's still running! Now I always back up my PC on Sunday evenings without fail. I learned a valuable lesson.
I thought about you this afternoon when I heard the news we lost Barbaro. Tragic loss.
