Go see American Splendor as soon as you can. As a film it's excellent, and as a film about comics it's maybe the best I've seen. I really liked the structure, how it went from narrative to documentary and back. My favorite scene was with the real Harvey and Tobias talking, while the actors portraying them sat in the background listening.

Put off working on the comic tonight to do some final touch-ups on a submission to McSweeney's. Eggers says 12 is going to be a "first time authors" issue, and they're still reading into August . . . so, there we go. It feels good to SUBMIT. Maybe I'll get some feedback, even.
