I've never really had to deal with death. I handle traumatic scenarios with dissociation. I pretend it isn't happening, I pretend I'm someone else and just go away from myself for awhile. My mother has a terminal disease that, statistically, should've killed her by last year, but hasn't yet, which is something of a miracle, but will kill her, and soon. I probably won't cry for days if not weeks. I'll probably tell everyone she's fine. Funny.
