I've got peaches, too. frown And since I just started I don't have anything cool yet. Oh well. Keep an eye out for me when you play, if you keep your gate open I'll drop by sometime.

Nerdy nerdy nerdy....but I love it.

Gee Gee Gee Gee Gee

Not so much has been happ'nin' lately. I've recently discovered the allure of audiobooks, however. Wow, those gems are pretty spiffy. I might pick up a subscription to Audible.com soon--although I may have too many recurring subscriptions now as it is (ya'll should be able to guess one, if you're lucky). Hmmmmm.

I'll be in Little Rock all day Saturday...

Don't worry. I'm cool about it all. I'm just feeling a little self consious at the moment. Believe me, I'll open my big mouth sooner than you think. HEHEHEHE

dude!! I was at Vino's Saturday!! didn't see you though. I was surprised at the crowd. More families than normal were eating in there. I guess people from out of town were in to see the game and happened to stop in.

audio books are great! it's quality entertainment while you drive. If you get a good narrator, the story really sticks. Sometimes while traveling I'll stop in a Cracker Barrel and get a book-on-tape. If you return it, they only charge you a $3 fee, otherwise you essentially buy the tapes for $25. Not a bad deal. Of course Blockbuster had a whole section also. Gotta see just what they have to offer.

Since my last update both my mom and my dog have had their birthdays, although I still haven't got my dog's birthday present yet. It was on Halloween, so I should've had plenty of time by now to pick something up, but I haven't 'cause I fail. I dunno what I could even get him, other than a bone or something. He's getting old now...

I'm gonna have to collect all of the Teddy Scares! They are so cool! biggrin

As for a doggie present, personally I recommend a chew toy called the "nylabone". This is the toughest dog toy I've ever seen. I have an old dog of my own, and he is notorious for tearing up any toy I've gotten him, he's even eaten and swallowed those rawhide bones! But that nylabone has lasted for about 5 years now and he absolutely loves it! I cost's about $10, but it's worth it!

I liked Saw 2 all right.
I work at a movie theatre and it's so funny to see the people who are completely mesmerized by that movie.
What's even funnier is to see the people who would rather watch Flight Plan.
I'll never understand.

For Halloween I am going on a great journey. The greatest of journeys. About 60 miles north of here to visit this place called "The Forest of Fright." Hopefully it'll be worth the trip. I've been wanting to go for a couple of years, so I don't want to be let down by it being sub-pair. It's supposedly this maze or something, a few acres...

I can't believe they're sending you to see Waiting. It will give you people ideas.

I hope you have fun at the Forest of Fright thing. I've never heard of it. Where is it exactly?

I've been watching a lot of Happy Days lately (first season by the way, the best one), and it's making me wish I grew up in the '50s. frown

Aaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

yeah, I agree that the earlier ones were cool. very good in the setting. Then they screwed things up by having Fonze do stupid shit, like jump a shark on waterskis or ride up the side of a mountain... lame!!!!!

khorsaun:
Yeeessssssss.....

FONZIE IS DA SHIT!!!!

He had alot of influence on me growing up. Shows how old I am...I can rember watching that show when I was a kid and it was a new series!! HAHAHAHAHAHA biggrin biggrin

My place of employment had a fire Saturday night. It was in the water heater closet on the backside of the building. Evidently there was a tarp coverved in paint from a month ago when the building was being repainted that caused it. It was situated next to the water heart (we guess the painters threw them in there after they were done). There weren't...

I wouldn't have been that worried, but I had no idea where she was and she had given me the impression that she would be home around 12 or 1.

I swear my friend has the easiest job ever. He sort of "manages" these tennis courts that are part of a community recreation facility, and he said he always had a lot of free time so I thought today I'd hang out with him for a while. Basically all he did during the entire shift (from 3-9 p.m.) was open the courts, pick up the...

i swear some people jsut show up at the right place and at the right time... I know you work your ass off dealing with irate people sometimes. a day on the courts taking it easy would be a nice break, I would say. Ask him if he wants to trade job with you. whatever

i got an email from the site promoting the dvd. I guess they are really wanting to make money from it. I might invest in it on your word. I did watch the little 5 minute preview. seemed entertaining.

you know, the closest show they have is in Denton, TX, probably about 6 hours from here (though you'd have another 2 hrs on top of that.) if it wasn't going to be sold out, it might be an idea worth pondering...

My Feeding the Planet teacher is great. He's African and says "Are you with me?" like some people say "Know what I'm sayin'?" after every three or four sentence. Except today it was weird like. He changed it to something like "A you are with me?" I don't remember if that's exactly how he said it, but it was different. So yeah, he's got this...

good to see that you are enjoying the semister so far. hopefully in the spring semister you can pick up some more hours.

i've been looking for things on the local calendars and really haven't seen any show that just jump out. if something somes up, I'll be sure to make a posting of it in the SGArkansas group.
taoshen:
Glad you are enjoying school! smile

And yeah, that's similiar to what I was feeling ... I'm over it mostly now.

Uh, I don't think the DVD is shipping yet at all. Why did SG lie to us?! mad

School starts next Monday. I can't wait, but I'm down to two classes because I'm broke. And I don't want to obtain an even greater debt than I currently have by getting a student loan. Here's what I'm down to now:

Feeding the Planet (some "enhancement" class I...

Not to repeat my brother, yet I totally feel you on this one. My 2nd year of nursing school I didn't make the grades in the very first part of the fall semester and had to drop out and take "filler" classes the next spring until I could get back in.
Oddly enough, it was exactly what I needed...
and my GPA went up, as well! smile

Luckily SG is promoting the DVD all over the Web site, or else I would've forgotten all about it. But I didn't because they're smart people. As of right now it's in progress, so hopefully it'll get to me sometime next week! Anyone else looking forward to it?

I got a couple of books--three, actually, which isn't a couple--in the mail the other day: The...
