As for South Korea? It's very strange. I don't think it has sunk in yet that i'm going to be living here for the next 51 weeks. But that probably has something to do with the surreality of the whole situation and being in such a non-Western place. I do know what it's like to be illiterate now though. I can't read a goddamn thing here yet and it can be very frustrating (i'm sure you know what i mean with all of your travels and such.) Grocery shopping is quite an experience because i generally don't have much of an idea of what i'm buying is. If the front picture looks good, it's in my belly...mostly.
Thankfully (for me at least) there is a big American presence here and at least once a week I will be able to get to an American Ex-Pat bar and be able to not talk like a retard to get my point across.
There's a ton of this city to explore yet and my journals are sure to speak all about it. TTYL.
