The weather's starting to pick up nicely. I find that I'm walking around quite a bit more.

I was recently moved into a new position at work, rather than the Assistant to Chief & Council, I am the Communications Coordinator. So far, things have been good.

I took at picture when I was visiting my home reserve a while back. It's a piece of art...

So, I've been in a hotel for six of the last seven days: Vancouver and then now in Victoria. I'll be here for another few nights, leaving on Friday. I'm heading to Vancouver again on Friday to hang out with a good friend and his amazing wife from a while back.

Travel is exhausting.

I'm still alive. Still functional, as far as I can tell.

Work, work, work.

Sometimes life.

So I've been traveling quite a bit, though only around the Island, really... work, work, work.

I'm headed up to Nisga'a Territory on Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you read The Vancouver Sun, you might have heard of the trip.

I just got back from a conference, the Maa-nulth Treaty Society Youth Forum at the University of Victoria. I had to give a series of presentations...

It's been another while since my last update. I've been busy as of late, which is a trend that I find that I'm still getting used to.... It's been a good month so far. Just yesterday, I attended a celebration held by my First Nation at my home reserve in Anacla (near Bamfield), on Vancouver Island. It was amazing, the seafood was fresh, the speeches...

I've been to Parksville! I had to take a PCL up there one time in the middle of the night to rescue a friend from his own head. It was an interesting couple days in buttfuck nowhere Van Isle...
