So I've been traveling quite a bit, though only around the Island, really... work, work, work.
I'm headed up to Nisga'a Territory on Tuesday and Wednesday.
If you read The Vancouver Sun, you might have heard of the trip.
I just got back from a conference, the Maa-nulth Treaty Society Youth Forum at the University of Victoria. I had to give a series of presentations and lead the seminars about my specific area of expertise: First Nations' Self-Determination and Constitutions. It went well. I find that I am quite comfortable with public speaking nowadays.
In other news, I'm a bit sad that starr_light's moving over 5,000 kilometers away... It's good that she got into Dalhousie though, from what I've read so far, her chosen field of study sounds engaging and evermore relevant. I just wish she was here a bit longer, is all...
