we never lived with each other *until* we broke up.
(and yes, we always got crazy looks when folks found out)
she's my best friend ever. sure we had our share of troubles (hence the breaking-up), but i couldn't ever imagine us being totally out of each other's lives.
sometimes it works out, but i understand that's the exception.
