I'm sure your kitten will not hate you forever once you bring her home - she'll more than likely be so happy to be home that she'll forget all about it and continue loving you like normal. I had my very unsocial baby spayed about a year ago and thought she would despise me once she was home (she has seperation problems, on top of being dropped off at the vet and left there), but it never happened. Sometimes I think their memories are not that great, or maybe they just get over things really quickly. I think lots of love and petting will definitely do the trick.
