Kris Kristofferson was ok. He closed the Sat night concert. He screwed up twice- had the wrong harmonica in once, so he cut the song short. Then later he had his harmonica in backwards. Ha ha! And he has a funny way of ending songs abruptly in the middle of a chord, just stopping with a "thank you." Gotta say I liked John Prine a whole bunch more.

blah, i hate rain frown oh well.

nothing much going on now, just got home from work alittle bit ago. the local newspaper (which sucks by the way) did a good job with the obit for my great-uncle. i was suprised.

i woke-up from a nap, and no rain, and the sun is out smile

I'll still be teaching - just not in Philly. I think we talked during kickball that I wanted to get out of the college-level track and get back to my roots in high school. Or maybe not....anyway, that's what I'm doing. But it's in a private school. I can't stand public schools. Not because of the kids, but because of all the bullshit regulations and proceedures. It's not about teaching - it's about standardized test scores.

So, yeah, I'm packing up - but I'll still keep my residence in Philly when I'm not teaching. So I'll be available for summer kickball - don't worry about that. wink And I'll be on SG the entire time I'm away, so it'll be like I've never left. You can keep me abreast of all the meth-lab raids in your hometown. biggrin

P.S. that's an incredible story about your uncle. The ball turret was no joke - one of those "certain death" type of assignments. Incredible. I'm sorry for your loss. frown

it's monday... oh boy... wink anyway today i finally switched over to a new bank. i ended-up going with Citizens, they told me since i have my car loan through them that i am entitled to a really good checking account with some nice perks. smile
