in America you should be able to protest and also work in law enforcement - that is an expression of one of the freedoms that we enjoy. So, good for you for doing it, and if it holds you back in any way, fight it with all you are worth (and post here so you can gain support).

Raise your son with these sorts ideals and he'll be an excellent person. I'm aiming to do the same with my newborn daughter.
