No, it's not the normal life... but you are doing what is considered to be as above and beyond. You are helping many girls feel... and succeed in a field that is very hard and not that accepting. You are a do-gooder. I don't see it as a mid-life crisis... or whatever stupid label people might put on it... you are living the way that life has taken you... and there is NO shame in that what so ever! The only part that scares me is that if you were to look in the mirror and not like what you see. Then... you would have some questioning to do.
