Last year the hurricanes caused a water shortage. This year it's a gas shortage. A water shortage is much more critical, but a gas shortage is a bigger headache.
All in all I'm pretty fortunate to live in a place with few natural disasters.

According to the USGS it was a magnitude 3.8 located 25 miles NNW of Asheville. It happened at 11:09:41 PM
