In Japan, Valentine's day is actually for the guys! We give them chocolates and watches and things. The girls' equivalent is called White day, where a guy that likes a girl will give her anything white and pretty: a white ribbon, rose, chocolate... I think it's cute. I believe that White day also coincides with St. Patrick's day, or is fairly close to it. ;D
