Still in Mexico. I am having such a lovely time. It has been really incredible.
I went to the hospital today to register babies and met several Traditional Mexican midwives.
The coolest thing was when one midwife said she could tell I was a midwife by looking at me.

WOW it sounds like such a great adventure. I can't wait for Mexico city this summer.
Yeah when ever we go to Mexico, I let her drive. She is used to it. So much easier than me trying to fit in. Hell I let her talk for me too. My Spanish is not as good as hers.

I am enjoying my time in Mexico so much.
I have been here 4 days and there is so much to write about.
I cant wait to tell you all when I have more time.
Note: I am in an Internet cafe. 5 pesos an hour. That is like 6 cents.

yeah, it's like $17.95 for a club sandwich at the space needle restaurant. i guess they figure the ambience and view justify it all. one of the chefs from my school was/is the executive chef there. seattle is such a cool town, i lived there for a year, and would still be there if there were any decent poker rooms around. next mexico city, huh? i'm completely envious.
