For some reason, I only ever cried for my first hamster. I cried when I realised we'd have to put down one of the babies our guinea pigs had when I was a child, but not for the actual event. I cried when my ex got to keep our cat, but not when he called to say the cat had to be put down because he was really sick. I don't know how I'm going to react when my current cats die. I'd like to think that I'll cry for them, but I don't know if I will. It doesn't mean I'm not sad, which is the strangest part. And I cry during commercials, so it's not that, either.

I am so sorry for your loss. One of my bestest girls ever, Piggles Wiggles, passed away thre weeks ago. She was almost three, and I still can't believe she made it that long. She was one of the best rats I have ever had. I have lost 12 rats over the years, and I miss every single one of them. Sometimes I forget they are gone and rush to play with them, only to be so dissapointed. I hope your pain eases with time, but remember that she loved you and had the best little rattie life with you. She is probably watching over you from her rainbow bridge, sending little rattie kisses your way. Hope tomorrow is easier for you.

Now Rattamus can run around with Roxy. Roxy was my favorite rat. She made the world ok with one look. I still miss her.
