I agree you really should be able to find a running car for the price of the type of bike that you will need. My hubbie is a big guy and he brakes the frames on cheap bikes like WHAT so you might want to shop around for sure!! Sorry to hear about the job gig ...the waiting games sucks I know!! Have you tried OLDNAVY the GAP or American Eagle I have worked for Old Navy and they were awesome I am trying to get back in with them if I move outta this hell hole...I don't know if any of those are local to you but they are always hiring in the summer and would love someone like you with your personality and retail experience!!
