I had a very long distance relationship and I got it to work out in the end.

its not your age group i'm bitchin about. its the kids that come to the shows cuz the bands "cool", and its the place to be seen. shows used to be for fun and dancing and having a good old bloody nosed, blackeyed pit. but these little snivlers are too scared to mess up their 'fro or break their new glasses. there are alot of youngsters that have my frame of mind too. i'll just be happy when "emo" and hardcore go underground again.
then the shows will be fun, with people who know how to have a good time and not worry about being fashionable.
know what i mean?

I'm kinda glad that I'm on the top floor of my dorm and that I got a cool neighbor that'll turn down his music if I ask. Of course it sucks when I have to carry a lot of stuff up/down 2 fleights of stairs.

thanks for the comment-i like the pic too. i think it's even cuter in it's entirety-which i am trying to figure out how to show now. i love those chucks. i think i had some that were kinda like that when i was little. or maybe my grandma just sewed legwarmers to them-i don't remember but those are adorable. my ex flew off of his skateboard once and got a bunch of gravel embedded in his chin and his lip almost came off. are you in portland now? and if so-will you be at rocco's tonihgt?

I think your long term interest is a great one. Having a job you appreciate is incredible. As much as we all wish we didn't have to be slaves to the economy in order to survive, we really do in order to feed ourselves. It is interesting that you wrote that in my journal, because I am going through the same thing at the moment. I am in college now, and I like it, but I also really want to move out to the west coast and start the life I want to live there. My heart is in the west, unfortunately my body is trapped back east here. And if I could find a job that I would enjoy out there that payed enough to keep me going, it would be a no brainer move.

your very perceptive. that is exactly how most people describe me, as i was a skin in my youngerdays.

One of the reasons I am more shy in real life is because it seems impossible to find people as open minded and supportive as you do here on SG. I have no problem being open, but I cannot be open to people who I cannot really relate to. Perhaps if I met people in real life like there are here on SG then things would be different, but until then, SG folk will have to do and that is perfectly alright by me. I feel free to release any and all information that I want to everyone here.

Dear lord... whatever you do, don't get a chelsea. Or if you do, at least never leave back fringe. This is coming from an ex-skin, too. Hell, if there was one thing that made me hang up my boots (besides the fact that every moron in the hardcore and oi scene thought we were best friends because we wore the same clothes) it was how ridiculous the girls looked. I used to cut my assorted skin-girl friends' hair (and I never got my fingers broken for fucking it up, a feat I'm quite proud of), and I always tried to get them to ditch the back fringe. I think Nadja's bangs are a little on the short side. I've never been into the ultra short bangs, so my opinion is a little biased. I've dated a couple of girls with really short hair. Piece of advice: leave enough for your boyfriend to play with while you're cuddling.

And I thought the same thing about the blue M&Ms. I also remember a time when there were no red M&Ms. Orange, yellow, green, tan and brown were it.
