Alright, you do have a point about the nature of the brain, but what about its role in its native environment? Given that the brain and body have through natural selection grown to support each other, is the human brain still a brain when not in a human body? The brain having so many specific duties in maintaining a living form, can it still be classified as a brain when freed from those vital functions by being placed in a hard metal shell? I once read in a book that a single ant is nothing, given its colonial nature, without the colony it has no purpose. Could the same be true for brains and bodies?
