SO I've been away
and no I'm back
Um, nothing much has been going on
I didn't get the job I wanted
I did some promotional work and went to Dawson Creek, and Grande Prarie, both of which were kinda boring, but I got paid so it's all good.
I went on a mini vacation to the mountains and got to swim in an outdoor...

My hair is the same as well, however that's on purpose 'cause I think it makes me look keen.

My interview went fantastic! They were concerned that I didn't have any editing experience, but I kept on pushing what I could do and have done and how awesome I am. I also pointed out if they were so worried about spelling why did they spell personal wrong....they spelt it with two Ns! That was a point for me...and the fact I am bilenguale! YAY....

Good luck with the process, both the interview and defeating the cold. Don't be afraid to pound a few litres of Tropicana with extra pulp. wink

You know how my last post was saying how I was going to stay at home on a saturday night. Well I certainly did not. And I had fun....I'm not getting into details of that evening however because well I just don't wanna. This past weekend was pretty decent too, Saturday night I went to see The Dudes, full of booze caffeine and weed. And...

So it's Saturday night and I've decided to be a loner instead of going to a stupid bar and feeling like a loser. But it's all groovy I have some wine and a good read I'm all set and ready to go.
My parents are visiting at the end of the week...that's always a mixed thing because as much as I like seeing them, and...

So there's this tree outside my window which it's leaves are already completley turned yellow. And it's cold now. Bummer. I have an interview tomorow for some promotional work with NewAd. That would be pretty nifty. it would be just part time probably and just be extra to serving. I also applied for a job as a Content Editor for their magazine. As fancy as...

Last night I rocked out to Queens of the Stoneage. It was all kinds of awesome and rock and roll! Great crowd, rad music, me full of caffeine it was Super!
I'm terrible at leaving messages on answering machines. I should just hang up when I hear them, but I don't I just babble on like a retard.
It's actually summery today. Joy!
rin:
you're right, it's totally dumb to miss winter! except that i don't mind it. i like dressing up in layers and wearing my awesome winter coat and all that...

oh well, i'll probably be in alberta around xmas so i'll get my winter fill then i guess. i should stop being such a nerd!haha
trocar:
Answering machines are like a blank canvas (especially to me 'cause I'm an ass). I like to make-up stories about inanimate objects that are in my field of vision, like the candle that's also a gunnery sergent. Like I said above "ass".

I can't believe that there's only one week of summer left! As far as summers go I guess it was pretty good. saw a lot of concerts. Did the my usual Fringe thing. I went to the Zoo that was the main thing. I'm kinda dissapointed that I'm not going to school or just even a class. Just to break up the routine a bit.
trocar:
Funny, that when you're quite young the days of warm breezes last almost too long, and then as seasons pass the weeks seem only as memories. Unless of course in Victoria where Summer lasts nearly eight months.

How did that whole "career fair" thing work out for you?
mrbradley:
It's better to stay indoors more in the winter anyway?

I discovered than not eating for a day-and-a-half and having one shot of jager is a good way to save money on alcohol, yay.

I got to see Two plays today. It was Fantastic! One wasn't that great...but the second one Scratch was SUPER fantastic AWESOME, and so freakin hilarious.
I need some adventure in my life right now. I don't know what I'm looking for, so maybe I just need to have a day off and listen to good tunes all day, smoke a bit of grass drink...

You can borrow anytime, I think you might like "Mismeasurement of Man" by Stephen Jay Gould. It looks at how theories of intelligence were developed and the shakey ground the concept of IQ rests on in todays world (MENSA...what a bunch of little bitches).

If we're super-friends do we get shirts? 'Cause green really highlights my features.

I don't think I express my love of books enough. I really like to read. I do! I'm super duper reading nerd.
I get excited talking about them, reading them and finding new good ones. LIfe is swell in bookland

rin:
