It's a German board game where you buy shares of 6 of the European powers right before WWI. The playability is great and I prefer games that have no luck element (no dice rolling, no random cards, etc).
Several things I really like about it. It's for one very good looking. It's best with 4-6 players.
If you're interested, a few pointers. Mainly, don't get attached to one country. I'd sometime build up a country only to steal its money or use their armies to sack someone else then let it rot. The other thing, you can win the game by riding someone else's coattails. If you see someone else successfully build a country, buy into it.

i agree with dangerous4tune, this movie was terrible.
all i can say is read the book. jackson and his screenwriters created unnecessary holes in this wonderful story.
like in the book he got rid of the safe at the same time as the bracelet, why move that to the end? and there were so many misquotes and stupid changes that if you read the book, it made it unwatchable.
i guess now i know how my harry potter loving girlfriend feels every time she watches one of those terrible book-to-movie adaptations. <3
