Waterpicks are good, but the best thing I EVER did for my (somewhat problematic) teeth and gums was getting aSonicare electric toothbrush. This was recommended by my dentist, and it really really changed things for me. Good stuff, but also, unfortunately, not cheap.

dude, isnt it strange how death can affect us even in ways we wouldnt expect? i had a similar reaction when our family mastiff died. i loved him, and was sad he was gone, and still am... but the biggest impact was that i am now so terrified of our lab dying.
summer, our lab(who lives with my family), is 10 and has diabetes. i call my mom everynight and make sure she gives summie her shot, but still it will damn near kill me when she goes. especially if its without warning, like every other death in my life...
