I am going through something very similar right now at my job. My old boss is slandering me. I have a meeting with HR tomorrow. Unfortuantley, she has just enough power to be dangerous and it is killing me. I care about what people think about me. And I think you are the same way. It is hard to have people talk about you in a negative light,. Especially when you know it is not true.
I had a really bad day today regading this. I got a very hostil email from a manager I don't really know ant doesn't really know me. She copied everyone and their mother on this email full of untruthes. I was so anger and hence the meeting with HR tomorrow. Any way enough about my issues.

Seems like you are in a bit of a rough patch. Just know that life comes at you in hills and valleys and sooner or later you'll come to a hill again. I know it is hard sometimes but you gotta try to see the silver lining, that is my mantra in life. No matter how bad things are, I always tell myself they could be worse and there are people who love me and those who hurt me are only human and humans aren't perfect. Everyone has flaws, some more than others, and sometimes those flaws can be overlooked but sometimes you realize you can't get past them, thats when you know it is time to let them go. You can't hold on to everyone forever. And drama....you gotta just walk away from the drama life throws at you or it is just gonna drag you down. um, wow, that was a tangent huh. I'm sorry, I'm a psych major, it gets into my brain. I hope you feel better. Someone with such a spark shouldn't be so down.
