i love movies. all kinds of movies. i love movies so much that i'm converting a large portion of my basement into a theater room. i also like mafia movies - i love the godfather movies, casino, goodfellas, etc. i also like war movies. and kubrick films. i also like cheesy comedies and stupid "girl" movies. steve buscemi is one of my all time favs. (so you can imagine how happy i am with the sopranos this season). but i'm not much into older movies - i don't think i have enough patience for them - with the exception of marilyn monroe films.
house of sand and fog is a ben kingsley / jennifer connelly movie. very good. a bit artsy. one of my male friends couldn't take it and walked out halfway thought. i thought it was great though. playing at hopkins now. $2 (or $1 on tuesdays!) i love cheap movies.
