hey. smile

so where did your transformation originate? who were you before, and who are you now? (feel free to answer in summary if you're really busy...I'll accept either a long reply, or a wee little tiny tiny baby kiwi one wink)

that's So neat that you lived with kiwis! they DO drink an assload don't they. quite a different culture than in america...or at least in the big cities. i suppose in the litte american towns, they'll also drink heaps - seems to be a direct correlate between little towns, nothing to do, and drinking an assload.

what gets you going about law? sounds like a super neat internship. smile kiss

...aaaaaand just to leave on a metaphysical note, in addition to begin with one biggrin, I transformed when a lesbian fell in love with me when we were seniors in high school. it was crazy intense, and there's no way to describe it all here now. then, because of her initial challenges, it all began to make so much more sense. ...

im sleepy and so my apologies if i seem rather full of tangents with no central line. tongue wink hehe.

im sure you get me though, yea?

kiss

One of my best friends just moved back to the U.S. after spending the last 6 years in New Zealand. It's been lovely to have her close again, but she misses the place TERRIBLY! I'm willing to bet she's back there within a year. From everything I've ever heard or ever seen, it's practically a magical place. I always threatened to go and visit her while she lived there but, alas, I didn't quite make it.

As for me....hmm, I really think I'd like to go back to the U.K. and do that whole scene again. England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, etc. It's been over 20 years since I was there and I absolutely LOVED it! (Oh, and the "no language barrier" was pretty cool too)

I was in Paris for the Tour back in 1987. Not being much of a cyclist, I really had no concept of what I was watching. Stupid kid that I was!!!

thanks once more for your advice on the running shorts. i think my gams look good enough to rock the shorty-short-shorts biggrin biggrin

i have a question for you, my running guru smile
can you recommend a type/style of running shorts that don't immediately bunch up between your legs, this is driving me nuts tongue
widow:
my goodness miss lady..you really threw me last night with your comment. it came at a beautiful time, I was squirming under my internal eye scrutinizing my loss of a dear friend recently (we've just moved apart) - and due to my sincere loyalty to lovely people in the world, it was hurting. I was miffed about the situation, and felt myself drifting back into negative thoughts..just little ones...blush and then I got to read your message.

Please know you are ALWAYS welcome on my journal, most excellent person. smile

(oh - and I love gushing at people because to me, if you think and feel gratefulness for someone, why censor yourself to merely say thank you in a subdued way? :kisssmile

you rock. smile

so where's your internship? smile and what's your favorite...experience you can remember, and why? smile

kiss tata.

I called in sick to my internship today cuz I just don't feel like going. It's one of those days, you know? I am going in to school early tonight so I can finish my powerpoint on a non-self-proving hella mess of a will that I have to talk about. I like my wills/trust/estates class. We are learning about legal ways to stash $$ from...

I grew up in El Cajon and went to Granite Hills High School (class of 83). If you marched with Poway, we probably competed against each other at some point. I was the lone female in the drum line.....not a bad situation when you're 16! biggrin

I swear this world just keeps getting smaller & smaller surreal

I hear ya!!! I was just talking about the Tour the other day, getting this guy all excited after explaining how the teams work and all the other ways to win within the Tour. I feel the excitment, plus just with the yellow jersey opened. Man, if Jan has dropped that much, he's going to be on fire!!! This will be cool indeed!!

Ugghhhhh... I am sick of people. I am esp. sick of those who get paid to bag the shit that I purchase. for like the 347th time I left a store without all my shit. They put like 3 things in each bag so I have about 12 bags, and can't keep track of all my purchases. I gotta go back to the grocery store...

It's a clear, sunny, warmish day and I am going to try to get a run in, and maybe a romp with the dogs, before I go to internship this afternoon for 1pm.

I have a feeling that this semester is going to seem long, but before I know it it will be May and it will be over and done with in the blink...
