well, took miles the kitty to the vet yesterday... the vet decided we could just treat the infection and let the hematoma run it's course, which is good news. I didn;t want to put him through the surgery anyway, and then to have to bob around the house with a cone at christmas....
of course now I get to give him pills twice a day....

when i first got my second kittie he was all sick. imagine a new kittie, in a new home, new people, and hey i'm gonna shove these pills down your throat and give you eye drops. yeah i'm surprised he doesn't run when he sees me. have a great saturday honnie!
damn it, my cat's ear is all swollen.... it looks like a hematoma, which means the poor guy has to go to the vet tomorrow....
he had this two years ago...I can't remember how much the surgery was, but the timing of this sucks....

Aww, well, if its any consolation... We had 2 outdoor kitties that used to fight all the time and get hematomas in their ears from infections... Uhm, you might not have to have it lanced, but if you let it heal on its own, it will smell very bad and the kitty would have cauliflower ear... I mean, its a good idea to have it lanced, but if money might be tight right now, thats always a stinky approach to it, lol. When we were having our kittys' ears lanced, it was costing about 800 bucks each time.

Ya know, both those girls are super gorgeous...but the only thin I didnt like about that set was that they both looked at the camera in every single shot...it just bugged me, like they were trying to hard..i dunno, maybe its just me...

I love eating, and I love turkey. thanksgiving is great because the food is the entire point... no distractions of presents and trees and whatnot...just food food and more food.
