I had the flu shot today, not the H1N1 just the regular one and it hurt way worse than any shot I have ever gotten. My muscle was having spasms right after the shot. Has anyone else had the regular flu shot this year? Did it hurt so bad?

Sounds like they hit a nerve. It's not unusual for it to hurt for awhile, though.

The shot doesn't hurt that much, I'd bet it was a bad stickthey probably hit a nerve. It's all relative, if you've ever had anything like IV Dilantin no shot hurts that much (it actually burns the lining of the vein.) Then again I had a really good stick this year so that could have made a difference.
