I had an interesting weekend. Two gigs, houseguest, very little time for myself but it was fantastic fun. smile

Now we are half way through the week and I sometimes think that time is being sucked away. It goes so quickly.

and so onwards to another weekend, with another gig.

I hope you are all well out there kiss

Thanks!
We just have to hope we can convince a Few people that we're not related to to buy now!

biggrin

Damn it, I'm rehearsing tomorrow, so no GP gig for me.

I will try and make it to the next show though.

Keep your eyes peeled and your ear to the ground (not at the same time or you might get grit in your eye)- a band that sells out that quickly normally puts another night into the tour somewhere...

Then again, they're still selling tickets for the MEN and Nottingham arena, if you were that keen...

NIck Cave won't allow his children to listen to his albums...

I find that kind of strange. But otherwise he is the man. His non-acting in Johnny Suede will always be in my heart.
sensuality:
Do you have any gigs set for mid-November? I'll be blowing into London then... oh just loaded your demo cd to the iPod recently... still enjoy...

Hope you are well!

I am having mental mood swings at the moment, one minute I am so happy and the next I am having to drag myself from depression mode. But I decided to kick myself in that arse today, so hopefully tomorrow I will make it out of bed before 1:30pm.

But there are lots of happening over the next frew months to keep me really busy....

Cricket's rubbish anyway, it's just rounders for people too unfit to run far, with a bat that a fat man sat on.
forkandles:
I saw the pictures but had to take the CD back to the processor - they put those pics on but wiped the 11 rolls I already had on there mad
I asked them to put those 11 back. Unfortunately, a) I got some of Ben but can't see any of you - prob because with everyone whirling round I lost both of you very quickly & with you having to go early, I only caught up with you as you were leaving. frown frown you still might be in some of my 'overhead' shots but I will have to look more closely. When I get the CD back on Fri: (b) I forgot to save the pics to my desktop before returning the CD - duh! (hits forehead with heel of hand).
Hope the gig tonight goes well - would like to be there but it's a bit late for me.

Are you real?

Hi there everyone,

It seems like such a long time since I updated my journal, so I thought I'd better write something down.

I made it back from Turkey in one piece. What an amazing place it is, I stayed in Dalyan a small town about two hours from Izmir. It was such a beautiful place, mountains, lake and sea. It is a protected area...

Hi,

sorry about the lack of recent journal posts and replies to comments, but me internet has been acting up at the moment.

Well that and the fact I have started back on the 2nd year of my law course. A solid six hours of lectures and tutorials per day. It is really hectic, but I love the pace.

Added to that I have also...

So your night was longer than mine then. I did think about going straight to work from your gig (there is a night shift) but i have to be around when the other cleaners work in case there are probs.
Was going to ask what you were studying but you answered that in your journal. The Japanese course sounds good. Wish I hadthe time & money to do some language classes, Japanese would be one of them - even tho' I find it a pig to remember stuff I learn from one week to the next. Can just about blag it in French (as long as it's for food or alcohol)
biggrin

i guess i'd better lern japanese, i don't want to look lie a complete idiot when i get there
