No one should remain in a relationship that makes them question their own self-worth. However, leaving the familiar (the history) for the unknown is a big step... still, even being alone (for a little while) is better than being with someone who doesn't value you. Have faith Maxi... things (generally, usually, mostly) work out for the best in the long run!

I'm so sorry you're sad, but you should totally go see Cloverfield. The plot isn't amazingly original, but the POV makes it very exciting and scary. I really enjoyed the dialogue (the spellcheck says I'm spelling this incorrectly, but I know it's right!) and I could have almost watched a whole 90 minutes of just the party at the beginning.

Cloverfield is getting bad reviews because it is not the movie everyone expects. It's a totally different way to approach the same tired monster movie. Of course there are certain things in the movie that are questionable at best. But if you see it, see it in the theater. You need the big screen and surround sound to get the full effect.
