Good you deserved some good news! And who cares about how things go with the girl. Forget the past, forget the future and just enjoy hanging out with her. It will give you the best experience. I had a similar reunion and saw her once, we hung out it was great! But I haven't seen her since. That was august. But I enjoyed seeing her again and I know if she'll let me back in, that it's something she's going through (grad school!)
And the DJ sounds great too. It's nice when you have a musician you know will rock your world and then they do!
