Today's Music: George Winston - December (on repeat)

This is the perfect album for this time of year. George Winston piano solos. Such beautiful music to listen to while waiting for Christmas to come. It's gentle, soothing, and holds so many wonderful memories from years gone by. I first got this record in 1989, and I think I've listened to it every holiday season since....

So I just found out last night that what I though was true is... I have an internet stalker. Don't believe me? Well then listen, and listen close, because it might be the last time you hear from me.

In November I took a trip up to Boston for a group dinner before the SG Cabaret that Bailey put together. I got to the restaurant...

Although I wish it were true, I don't know where this crazy rumor about me attending the PGH party came from. I'd love to be there, but unfortunately I've got family in town for the holidays. I'll have to take a rain check on this one and try to hit the next party up your way, but thanks for the invite.

By the way, did I mention that I know somebody from Keansburg?

I AM ADDICTED TO EBAY!!!!

If you get a gift from me this year that's probably where I got it from. There are so many cool things on there. I always try to be there during the last few minutes of bidding if I can, and I just had four items I was trying to win all ending at the exact same time. My heart...

If I were addicted to ebay, I would also be flat-on-my-ass-broke. No ebay for me. Not until I am a millionaire and can buy whatever I want. smile

If you ever felt like leaving me a testimonial now would be a great time. I could use a bit of cheering up.

I found this to be interesting and accurate.

Isn't that the way
Everybody's...

I'd love to take you up on the ride to PGH for New Year's Eve, but it seems I'm hosting Pajama Karaoke at my bar, and the night just can't live without me.

Plus, I'm afraid you'd bite my style again. wink

I don't have an update, but I've had that last journal up for long enough now, so I'm going to ramble about some things that I shouldn't really be rambling about. She will see this, but that's the price of having an online diary of sorts.

I feel so ill. It's not a sick ill. It's not from the crazy long weekend I had. It's...

Oh dude, be careful, bro. Getting involved in post breakup action can be dangerous. At least you feel passionate about someone though. I envy that, somewhat. But I know what you mean when you say you could puke or cry, or both.

Good luck.

Thanks for the crash space and driving, and sorry I had to secretly flee to north Jersey so early in the am. Will do the test drive next event. Peter caused no trauma to my car while humping it. Your cat is like a lapdog, it slept with me most of the night, it did a burrowing cuddly thing and stayed there.

OK, I doubt anyone will have a really good answer for me, but here's to hoping someone will. How do you know when to sell stocks? I mean, mine has been going through the roof. The first year I had it they were around $22-$26 a share. Recently they have been climbing steadily to $39. That's a huge profit per...

I don't own any stocks myself, but I took to learning about them when I worked as an equity research analyst over the summer. I'm not very business oriented, I was actually there to do neuroscience research, but I knew it was a good time to learn because I probably wouldn't be put in that context - school or job - again.

In the "Makes me happy" section of my profile I have 'Life.' I really truly mean this. There are some many different emotions that we go through on an average day, in an average month, in and average year. Feelings of absolute joy, of overwhelming frustration, the elation of meeting some one new and special, and the loss of people we care about. It's the...

just to keep you updated on the "flight passes", i sent in an email to our human resources department/flight privilege department about the status of my suspended alotment of buddy passes. i only get them if i go "above and beyond" the call of duty. i still get unlimited flight privileges, but the buddy passes are a different story. i am working on it though, so i'll have to wait to see if i've got any coming to me.

I think Thanksgiving is going to really suck this year. It used to be one of my favorite holidays, but since my family all hates each other, and especially me, I'm most likely going to be spending it alone. It's very lonely to have to do that when you know that next door, and down the block, and all over the country, so many people...

you as well. thank you for trying to help us out. we ended up wandering outside in the nasty cold and rain for a while, but we have eventually made it home. i just woke up after sleeping for almost 24 hours - i am sick sick sick - fever, sore throat, congestion, etc. but if that's the price, so be it. i had a lot of fun. and thanks for introducing (shy) me to so many people. i hope to see you again sometime.

I don't move around much anymore. I used to, but not by choice. After my parents divorced when I was 15 I moved 5 times in 6 years. I've been pretty stable for the last 7, but I really think that is going to change soon. After my second trip to San Francisco last weekend it's pretty definite that I'm going to move there. I've...

November 13 - Update-

So as it turns out the Yeah Yeah Yeahs did not open for Interpol. That might just be for the best in the end. Those two bands on the same bill would have been sensory overload for me. Interpol, however, rocked.

It was the fourth time I've seen them, but it was the first time they really did a full set....
