I really like the Weakerthans & I can't figure out why they don't get the hell out of Winnipeg. I remember John Sampson & a couple of those other guys from many years ago. They were in bands like Propaghandi and Red Fisher.
I grew up in Winnipeg so I'm going to visit the family. I usually don't go there at Christmas so this will be my first real winter in about 7 years. Vancouver doesn't have real freeze your butt off winters. Thank God!

well, the only movie i have seen about las vegas is Fear and Loathing, and that has nothing to do with my wanting to move there. i want to go there because a) it isn't cold, b) people where i am (which is actually new jersey) seem to be born here and die here without ever leaving, and a lot of them think they're better than other people for that reason. most people in vegas are from somewhere else, and have chosen to move there. i would like to be in a place people choose instead of one they just happen to live in. c) i'm used to moving every couple of years. i visited there recently and it was beautiful and pleasant and the sun was out and it was nothing like new jersey.
