I understand what you mean. People are surprising. When you think of them as one way, they then act in a totally different way. Life is full of those surprises. As much as we like to think that life will "always be like this", it's never true. Are things looking bleak? Pull off that veil, and see it in another direction, things still surprise.

As for the death penalty in Texas, they should realize that even Texas justice has to bow down to International Law. If the crime happened where I live, I would have still bowed to International Law. After all, they may see the bigger pictre of things. Secondly, the Texas State Court should realize that the World Court is only reviewing the case, not necessarily halting the executions permanently.
