Things That Have Happened This Week:

- Read several books including China Mieville's "The Scar", a book about the life of John Lydon's 2nd band Public Image Ltd, Michelle Houellebecq's monogram on H.P. Lovecraft, various stories of Lovecraft's and a book about Led Zeppelin's 4th album from the 33 1/3 series. All were good. Now I'm in the middle of some more books.

I'm not at home, don't have many friends around, and I don't have a job. Time is stretching and bending in weird ways, and I'm not getting anything done that's even remotely productive. I'm used to going out (not necessarily partying) all the time and I'm barely leaving the house.

Our Trip So Far.

I enjoy being an amateur cartographer.

Sydney is lovely - it's warm, the people are friendly and the living is good. So far in under 2 weeks Pygmy and I have found an apartment, explored the city, got library and bank cards, and it looks like Pygmy's found a job as well. I'm still looking at the moment.

Unfortunately she's hurt her foot again and is having some troubles walking...
