Possible favor / bartering opportunity for the web-savvy below..

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Is someone willing to barter something for building me a really basic website? I've been tooling around with NVU and Dreamweaver - but I've having a harder time whipping it up than I originally thought. (apparently things have changed since I last made a site like 8 years ago - and I...

It feels nice to be in love. It's something that I haven't felt in quite a long time. Despite being a chronic dater I've had very few what I term "serious" relationships. Those relationships although weren't super long and were fraught with difficulties.. I was younger, more fucked up, less certain of what I want. Now that I'm older, less fucked up, fairly certain of...

After many years of site membership, it seems like I've now found myself in one of those most revered of member positions - one half of an SG Power Couple. Bam! It is done.

I sit here listening to the lovely disco funk of Candi Staton's "Young Hearts Run Free."
I have the rice cooker cooking me up some rice for some late evening Indian....

Naaah.. It's not that fun. I exhausted most of the fun in Melbourne over the weekend. Sydney, on the other hand... So much to do! *nudge nudge*

Well what's happened in the last while? I now own Baron Samedi, a MacBook with souped up RAM under the hood. He runs smooth like big black velvet. Black & Tan Peaches & Cream.

Last weekend I got to hang out with one of my favorite people I've met from SG. She has a potent cranium loaded with facts, figures, adventures, and the like....

He thought to himself.. "I'm the patron saint of virgins.."

But then he thought again.. no.. that doesn't quite come out right..

Maybe he could be the patron saint of unvirginity.. which like your unbirthday should take place 364 days a year. Deflower power.

Tomorrow I get a sweet new obsidian Macbook that I'm naming Baron Samedi, and that loa's going to riiiiiiiiide.

The other...

Bought a new external harddrive.

Sadly, I don't think that is a terribly uncommon opinion around these parts.

The possibility of being without music for another month is driving me insane. To paraphrase my man Seneca "life without music is death and the burial of a man alive." Those who know me well, not so well, and even not at all know that I'm a total music fiend. Since my laptop died 2 weeks ago - all my precious music is unplayable -trapped...

Im french so, most of the books i read are in french ( love Camus) .. but ill read in english or spanish if the copy of the book that ends up in my hands is in that language.
...Or if i find a british bookstore in Rome five minutes after i decided to go a week alone to the beach (yay!). tongue

My heart belongs to Montreal, but cant say Europe is not amazing. I lived three months in London and waw, it was so much fun... and i always love to see how people live in other countries, what is there heart made of..
When are you going back?! Im gonna be hitting Netherlands in October to visit my best friend biggrin!!
It's so funny, someone told me how the city she's staying in has a hill and it's a huge tourist spot of the country and to us it is a tiny hill haha I'll do Amsterdam too blush

There's still two moths before Halloween eeek I wish it was halloween everyday...there was a kid in elemetary who would come to school dressed up as cartoon characters haha. I think costume parties are really cool because the magic im on the look out for is childish nowadays. Unlimited and surreal, it feels like im flying.
More concretely, swingging at the playground and playing tag or last weekend i started to speak non-sens, having absurd conversations where there is no structure and the coolest thing is there's some people that dont get lost, they catch up with my game...eventhough i didnt tell them the rules tongue
So yeah, magic used to be moment of perfections to me and now im switching to flying by not being down to earth.

ooopps, my comments are a bit intense huh shocked blame it on insomnia or hyperactivity or just me

How are you working the magic other than flow experiences?! Hmm do you think it is only flow experiences?
Cuz i kinda remember that to me the bottomline of the book was, magic is just living.
I think of this book anytime i do my nails.(Which is often)

All the "sayings used in Tonglen" are called Lojang.
Here is a complete list: Lojong sayings

Wow. People must really have a thing for that tie book, given the prices for used copies.

Right now I'm only working in silver and non-precious metals like brass and copper, but once school picks up again in the fall I'll be moving on to different karats of gold and possibly platinum.

It's s shame you live in Montreal, I have two friends looking for a place right now frown

It takes your computer totally dying to make you go face to face with your internet habits. Yikes.

Hopefully "30 Ought Six" will be fixed tomorrow or by Monday.. it's probably about time I buy a new machine though.. I'm thinking a new iBook. That would be nice.

I'm writing this on a laptop from 2001 running Windows 98 that I bought for a 12...
