Of course if he doesn't you're probably best to move on - there comes a point of diminishing returns when it's not worth continuing.

Since I've already got my mouth open and atleast one foot in - people only hurt your feelings if you let them - your feelings are yours to control.

Nobody ever gets that btw. Well, hardly anybody does anyway - but if you wanna be happy then choose to be, don't wait for someone to "make you happy".

Lavinia, thanks that was a great list of clubs. i've been to a few of those, being in my transplanted west end stomping ground. interestingly enough i saw an amazing band, Battleship, at the 340 pub on fri. not my typical style, but their passion was infectious. shout at me if something worth noting goes down...

Sometimes it's good to coccoon and regroup after a period of time where you feel yuo've given more than you've gotten in return. A conservation of sorts. But, doing it too long can eat away at the self. As humans we need a connection, however light or fleeting to remind us of actually existing and being. It's hard for everyone.

About 10 to 15 years ago I thought moving to the States would be pretty cool. It's impossible for me to remember any longer why on earth I ever would have felt that way. The memory behind that inclinatiion is gone other than I guess I think it's a different country now than it was those years ago.
