once again with feeling.....people suck i'm sorry whatever happened did happen, but you just have to get back up, and keep on keepin' on. i trust almost no one right now, and it sucks. i put on a mask for most people so they can't get in, and i think it's a safety thing for me so i won't get hurt. and most of the time, it seems to backfire. oh well, you can handle it....with a foot to their ass!

Cute Cat! I love kitties...my old kitty Chet is venturing toward the end and it makes me horribly sad to watch him failing...I have 5 total and I notice the others don't harass him anymore either, i think they suspect it as well.... But he had a good life with me and as long as he is still eating and drinking and enjoying me petting and holding him He will be around for me to enjoy...I won't let him get to a point where his quality is shite though!

I'm sad that you're not going to try to be a SG. You would have been a great one, and definitely my favorite. On the other hand, I'm glad that you've stopped applying before something happens in your future that might make you regret becoming one. At least you won't end up with any bitter feelings towards the site and it's members (I hope!).

In a corporate environment, many things can come back to haunt you. Companies cannot fire you over something like being a SG, but if it gets out, your life at work can be hard. Then you have to deal with the stress of staying and ignoring the whispers, or looking for a new job. And then, who's to say that no one will find out at your new job, right? You're avoiding a lot of unnecessary stress by doing this, even though people in this country shouldn't be so uptight about sex that they should make an issue of anyone being a SG. It sucks that you have to make this decision because of what other people might think, but you're doing the right thing by thinking long term.

i've been at mine for almost four years, and i'm looking. if you don't like the position you're in, ask for a transfer to one you do want. they will probably like the iniative you show, and they don't want to train a new person. then again corporate america still mystifies me...

i have the same issue with a job i took.

there is maybe 20 min of work a day (which is horrible for me cos i get too bored)
and i dread going every day.

I can see where you're coming from....but, on the other hand....that's their lives, not yours. I'm 32, not married, no kids, small apt and I couldn't be happier. Of course, it's different for guys, but still. Don't feel like you have to live the 'robotic' life just because everyone else around you does. You are free to do whatever...not bogged down by kids or whatever. When they're changing diapers, you'll be doing cool shit. Shit at 29..you're still a baby yourself!
