it is no mystery, i know my way from here

i'm pretty stoned and listening to 16 horsepower on headphones. generally when i get stoned all i want to do is sit in a darkened room listening to music on headphones. it's a pretty great pastime but i think i was supposed to be doing something else... hmm.. i forget what.

i love 16 horsepower...

yay! my first comment, and it shall be to you. all because of 16 horsepower! david eugene edwards is a possessed saint. or maybe a divine demon. clearly he locked himself in a closet with too many drugs, and a copy of the violent femmes second album.

have you ever seen them live? it's an experience.

wow! baraka, too! i just notcied on your favourite films. i just watched that again this past weekend. sigh. like drinking a cup of tea that tastes like rumi's poetry...

fred:
yeah another thing,
Stealing Beauty was a good movie... I watched it three times in one weekend and got a crush on liv ullman.

today was fun! i ran all my errands with a pair of huge handmade fairy wings on. then later, i sat up in the window of my apartment with my friend AUSTIE and we used a megaphone to heckle the hordes of partygoers headed to and from the castro. we did this for two hours, mooing at people dressed like cows, giving shit to a...

Hey Le,

Heckling is an art form. Sounds like you and AUSTIE have the gift! Did you heckle the neighbor before you shut up?
Glad you had fun this year!
le:
we TOTALLY heckled the neighbor before we shut up. of course!

wiggly days, wiggly nights.

i woke up today, a sunny day, with my cat curled up near me. i have a lot of errands to run and things to take care of, but i'm not stressed out because the first thing i did was put on built to spill. there's nothing wrong with love.

oh hey i forgot to say, my cat is better. i took her to the vet and she had a badtooth that was hurting her! they took it out and she is much perkier and back to normal. yay!
lefty:
i love cats dont you?? ive got a cat that acts like she's on speed 80 percent of the time, running around the house without purpose, and attacking your feet... 10 percent of the time, shes trying to get your attention, the other 10 she's sleeping or eating

so many things are happening right now in very nearby parallel universes. such as: i'm a driver, i'm in india, i'm a musician, i'm a whore, i'm with him, i'm a daredevil, i'm dead.

Are you back from you summer in the wilderness?
le:
tuffy: i am back from the wilderness. and in the midst of a totally different type of wilderness.

z: i am pretty sure god is really into me. the evidence is definitely there.

do you read poetry? what kind of poetry do you read? do you like to read it out loud? let's talk about it.

all the poetry I have written was really funny and rhymey and kids-bookish.
-but it's cute and it rhymes.

joyrider:
i like to read poetry: brautigan, thomas, sexton, ginsberg, ferlingetti, snyder, lord byron, shelly, o lord there's a bunch.

i write poetry, too, but that is neither here nor there.

i don't think poetry is irrelevant. poetry is gentle and demanding at the same time; it has no space in world of fast pounding movies and television. i hope poetry is simply sleeping now.

doing a set with mitten soon, hopefully! not WITH mitten, like, i won't have her tit in my mouth or anything (that i know of), but she'll foto-graf me.

donkey, i prolly won't hit up any sf gatherings anytime soon, maybe, i don't know. it doesn't feel right. i tend to stick to my own crew, read books, plan secret hippie adventures, and generally lay...

cats are sad sometimes like people are sad sometimes. when i moved away from one house to another for the first time my cats could remember (ie, the first time in their adult lives) they hid for about two weeks and wouldn't talk to eachother. it just happens. if she's eating then she's probably okay. she's probably dreaming with the cat she misses. let her be and give her time to adjust.

i'm sorry if this makes no sense, i am rather inebriated currently and have no concept of appropriate language patterns among adults speaking on the internet of things they know little about first hand.

one thing i do know - we did not meet in new york and now neither of us is there anymore. does this mean there is a future for that fleetingly thought of sketchy bar, or has it faded into the oblivion of yoga bliss and dynamic spatial differences?

maybe there was a dream in which we met. and set the whole place on fire.

that land was so full of ghosts.
le:
to isabelle.

new york was so full of glory i do not know if it could have contained much more; including the meeting of two suicide girl ships passing in a sketchy bar. but where are you now and where am i? i tend to be all over the place, especially spread across the west from vancouver to austin. and i'll be back in new york, maybe as early as march or april, or as late as may or june. love.

thanks for cat advice everyone. she seems to be perking up a little, i fed her some nice wet food with fishies in it and i have been giving her tons and tons of love. she is eating, so that's good. i'm worried she's not drinking enough water but how in the hell do you get a cat to drink water? i think i will get her one of those water dishes that's a fountain.

D:\chris\mp3\archive\classical\ravi shankar\sitar concertos\disk 2\01_raga_purlya_kalyan - that is my favorite raga ever!

i would like to find that glass collaboration, i think.

ok. i am going to be good and write a real entry now.

i miss elara. do you ever have a feeling that you just intrinsically understand someone, and nothing else matters? mundanities of getting-to-know the other person come second after the initial feeling of being comforted by their presence. i have that feeling about elara, tho it sounds a little creepy i know, at...

hey le, maybe you should continue to be a part of sg if only to remind yourself not to take everything so seriously?

it's silly.

it's fun.

it's a bizzarre little online community. there is no "place" is anyone's lives for sg other than recreation. don't try and find a deep meaning. i mean, i have my uplifting the principles of positive pornography and the overall view girls have of ourselfs and eachother, but if it wasn't fun, i wouldn't do it.

and get the hell out of the city if you aren't happy. sf must be scary after the woods. portland is scary for me after farming in the pacific. but i'm happy anyhow. if you aren't in sf, you know where you found it. right?
