I HATE THE HOLIDAYS...

not so much the holidays, i'm just sorely disappointed in humans as a race.

I have little hope for their survival.

why is everybody so caught up in their own fucking dramas that they forget simple civility?

is it's the most hapiest time of the year, why do i feel so fucking unhappy?

I was in San Diego for a few months this summer and the scene is totally different than it is here in Virginia... but again, San Diego is a little bigger city too. I wear my SG jacket out all the time, but no one every recognizes it, I had all kinds of people point it out while I was in Cali.

nothing much to report tonight. Had a great week-end, if not a little low key. Which is ok. Saw two movies this week-end. one so-so ( Oceans 12) one inspiring and life changing, (Spanglish) Morning comes early in my world though, and sleep beckons me. Hey - your not being insenstive, you are just expressing what the true soldier should portray. I wish I could be more like that, but I guesse it is just the girl in me coming out. I found out today that I am not going to be able to attend the funeral as I am the medic on duty. This was going to be the "closure" for me but I guesse that someone has to stay and be on alert for other soldiers in need. frown

I can't wait to see Spanglish, I've only heard good things about it. You're right normaly Sandler plays wack jobs but sometimes hints of the man's acting capablities come through.. and of course there was punch drunk love... which in many way's was for Sandler what 'Truman Show' was for Carrey.

Thanks - I know that this is part of the job and we just have to suck it up somtimes, but to actually see what I saw........All I can say is that I know that Miles died doing what he loved and that is the best way to go. Knowing that the other pilot is o.k too is helping the ease the pain. Thanks for understanding what a difficult time this is for me and the rest of Canada frown
